-Your participation helps His Healing Hands Urgent Care Center to meet the increasing demand for medical care among the uninsured, and those with low incomes on government programs such as Medicaid and Ingham Health Plan (IHP). According to the Michigan Community Health Department, more than 1,000,000 people (1 out of 8 people in Michigan) are uninsured including 160,000 children. The uninsured die twice sooner than the insured.... This is a fundraiser and the proceed will help cover the cost of providing medical care to the uninsured and underinsured. This is a great opportunity to come together with friends and family to support a great cause. We look forward to your participation in this effective fundraiser.
